ISLAMABAD: After completing his successful tour, the Federal Minister for Commerce Makhdoom Amin Fahim called on the President Asif Ali Zardari at president house.The federal minister took the president into confidence regarding his foreign trips of Maldives and Sweden. He briefed the president regarding his meetings with the leadership and business communities there. The Federal Minister has recently completed his foreign visits of Maldives and Sweden.
The president appreciated the efforts undertaken by the federal minister and his ministry for the promotion of trade and commerce abroad. The president directed the federal minister to take concrete steps for establishing better trade links with European Union.
They also discussed national issues, the current situation and matters pertaining to Party. There was complete unanimity regarding current situation and party matters on both sides. The meeting continued for more than three hours.
It should be mentioned that Makhdoom Amin Fahim also announced his Political Advisors for Sindh and NWFP Provinces. Iqbql Inayat will work as Political Advisor for Sindh Province and Muhammad Raza Khan Marwat for NWFP.
