
“We are considering asking for the hearing to be held at a neutral venue because of the tense conditions,” the Daily Times quoted Asif’s lawyer Shahid Karim as saying on Sunday.
Asif failed a dope test while playing in the Indian Premier League in June, his third drugs-related offence in two years.
He tested positive in 2006 and was detained in Dubai earlier this year for carrying a banned substance. (ANI)
