Present Incidents Aimed At Sabotaging City Peace: MQM


KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement Leader Shoaib Bukhari said the armed operatives of a sectarian party victimized the workers of MQM.

Addressing a press conference here at MQM headquarters Nine Zero, he urged president, Prime Minister, the Sindh Governor and Sindh CM to take strict notice of these target killings to restore peace to the city.

Shoaib Bukhari said that the activists of sectarian faction killed two MQM workers through target-killing, adding two motorcyclists came and shot down MQM workers Mohammed Danish and Salahud Din and a sympathizer Irfan was injured in the incident.

He continued that the operatives of the same group killed Mohammed Farooq—a dispenser—in Jet Lines area and injured Mohammed Fahim in New Karachi by opening fire at him.

Furthermore, MQM leader said that militants of the same group opened fire at the shops in Resham Market in Shah Faisal Colony-1.

He said the saboteurs torched several cars in different areas of the city, while, MQM, by staying peaceful, foil the plot of conspirers, adding the recent violent occurrences are intended to harm national economy.

On this occasion he urged the party workers to stay peaceful, adding the present incidents of violence are aimed to disrupt the peace of the city.

He requested the concerned authorities to take notice of the recent target-killings of MQM workers and arrest the culprits at the earliest.
