MOHALI: India were bowled out for 469 in their first innings at tea on the second day of the second Test against Australia here on Saturday.
Earlier, former captain Sourav Ganguly has provided the platform and Mahendra Singh Dhoni produced quick runs as India built an imposing total of 401 for 6 wickets at lunch.
Ganguly is playing his final series Saturday. He moved cautiously toward his 16th century. Ganguly scored 102 runs and caught by White on a Brett Lee delivery. Dhoni in his quickfire half century scored 92 runs and given LBW off Siddle bowling.
The Australian bowlers tried to attack Dhoni with short balls, but he hooked and pulled superbly to deflate the attack, which had hoped for a quick end to the innings.
