ISLAMABAD: India’s High Commissioner in Islamabad, Satyabarata Pal called on PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif here on Tuesday to discuss current situation in the wake of Mumbai attacks.
The meeting between Nawaz Sharif and Indian High Commissioner was held at Punjab House in the federal capital.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Raja Zafar-ul-Haq, Javed Hashmi, Ayaz Amir and other leaders were also present on this occasion.
PML-N chief apprised Pal of his party’s viewpoint on the situation and strongly denounced the Mumbai attacks. “We strongly condemn every kind of terrorist activity,” he said.
Both the sides also exchanged views to calm the tense situation between the two countries.
