Seven policemen were killed on Tuesday and two others injured in a landmine blast triggered by Naxalites in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh.
Naxalites blew up a bridge Mardapal and Kondagaon areas of the district, killing World Breaking newsseven policemen and injuring, A N Upadhya, Inspector General (Bastar), said.
Naxalites triggered the blast when the security men were returning from election duty at polling booths in Tumdibala, Kudhur and Nahakanar in Narayanpur assembly constituency where re-polling was held, Upadhyay said.
33 polling booths went for re-polling under Bastar division on Monday.
