US Drone strike Kills 7 in South Waziristan

WANA: Another missile strike, suspected to be from a pilotless U.S. drone, killed at least six residents of South Waziristan on late night Thursday, reported A Pakistan News.

The missile hit a house adjacent to a madrasa in Qazi Panga village near Azam Warsak town, say news reports, adding seven people were residing in the house out of six were killed on spot, while another was severely injured in the incident.

Residents of the village recovered the corpses from debris by their own amid fear and anger, as the US drones continued their flights following the strike.

It was the second strike by U.S. drone aircraft this month, after three people were killed in a similar attack in neighboring North Waziristan.

The latest strikes came amid growing tension between nuclear-armed Pakistan and India over deadly attacks on Mumbai last month.
