Al Qaeda Attacks Feared During Presidential Election: US Army


WASHINGTON: US Army has said that Al Qaeda attacks were feared during the presidential election.US Chairman Joint Chief of Staff, Michael Mullen told that the enemy could take advantage of the interim period during the transfer of power to the new US President and therefore, the US Army was making preparations for meeting the threats of attacks from Al Qaeda. Michael Mullen said that military preparations all over the world have been made for meeting this threat. He further said that secret agencies stand focused on matters relating to this and preparations being made by the Army on daily basis that if it so happens, they were at once in a position to retaliate.
