KABUL: A suicide bomber has blown himself up inside an Afghan ministry in Kabul, causing a number of casualties.
The attack took place at the information and culture ministry and ambulances have been carrying wounded people from the scene. Eyewitnesses said at least five people were died on spot, reported ARY OneWorld.
The bomb caused massive damage to the ministry building, which is located in the city centre.
Security at ministry buildings in Kabul is usually very tight and attacks such as this are not common.
Many of the building’s windows were blown out by the force of the blast.
