ISLAMABAD: President Supreme Court Bar Barrister Aitizaz Ahsan and another leader of the lawyers’ movement Ali Ahmed Kurd were disallowed entry in the Supreme Court premises on Monday.
Aitizaz Ahsan had announced a photo session with the deposed chief justice Iftikhar Chaudhry at the Supreme Court today, but they were stopped when these lawyers’ leaders were on their way to the apex court. A heavy contingent of police was deployed around the premises of the Supreme Court.
The media men were also denied to move near the court building as the lawyers were trying to take the deposed chief justice in procession to the Supreme Court building.
It is pertinent mention that the deposed chief justice can be allowed a photo session in the apex court building after permission from the prime minister.
