Latest News Update: It was just a little rain, but it seemed to put a serious damper on Sunday night’s Golden Globes festivities. HBO held a bash poolside at the Beverly Hilton — a “rain or shine” boite so drenched that the inside bar area quickly reached capacity.
Says a snitch: “The fire marshal showed up and was literally counting bodies. There was a huge line of very annoyed celebrities.”
Some of them decided to simply cut their losses: When Kate Bosworth asked to skip the line and was denied, she went home — but not alone.
“Kate was with Alex Skarsgard,” our spy says of the blond and her “True Blood” hottie. “And they definitely left together, too.”
Other celebs were more patient but still had trouble getting into the exclusive Moet & Chandon fete.
“Malin Akerman and other talent had to wait in line and verify that they were in fact ‘talent,’” says the source. “No one was too happy about that.”
