DERA ISMAIL KHAN Mosque Attack 6 injured
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: At least six people were injured in a blast at a mosque here Thursday.
The incident took place in a mosque situated at Nizamgate area near Circular road where some unknown bikers hurled a grenade. People were busy in offering Maghrib prayer at the time of the incident, the channel reported.
As many as six people have been injured who were rushed to District Headquarter hospital.
Law enforcement agencies’ personnel arrived at the scene soon after the blast and carried out relief activites. The area has also cordoned off for general public.
District Nazim D.I.Khan Haji Abdul Rauf told the media persons that some 42 people were wounded in the attack. However, the figure could not be tallied by any other source.
