KARACHI: Munaf Kalia and Javed Khanani allegedly involved in financial scam were handed over to FIA on physical remand until November 26 here.
Sources said that Munaf Kalia and Javed Khanani were presented here in the court of Judicial Magistrate, Asif Ahmad at the City Court here, when FIA requested for his physical remand.
Earlier, FIA had nominated Asmat Mehdi as Special Public Prosecutor in the financial scandal case, while Sarmad Awan and Barrister Kameel Shirazi will be assisting him. Raza Hashmi appeared on behalf of the accused.
Munaf Kalia and Javed Khanani were flown to Karachi yesterday night by a special flight from Lahore.
